Mother's Day is Just Around the Corner

I'm back. Gail passed away this morning between 4 and 5. My sleep has been spotty, I'm disoriented and was feeling rather ill. I'm tired, I'm really sore, and I have 48 hours to unpack, launder, repack, decide if I want to speak at her memorial service, all while working and going to class and house-sitting, getting a ticket and then flying out to California for the weekend. More about all of this later. I don't have the energy now. I need to call Spunky Coworker and eat dinner.

Girlfriend will be here in 9 days.

Oh yeah, and I quit smoking.
