Inspired by Raybear's post
I deposited a check from smith I've been sitting on for 8 months. I hope it goes through. If it does, I will have almost $900 in my savings account. I have to remember:
Every little bit helps
Consistently putting in $50 dollars will get me to my goal faster than sporadic deposits of $200+
I always think that small checks are a waste to put in my savings, and i should use them for lunch money. In reality, I should have a monthly budget, and anything over my allowed amount for food etc spending should go into savings. I figured that out this time. Go me. I also paid the rest of this semester's tuition and then mailed a check from my mom for the tution to my credit card company. Plus $50 to cover the last couple calling cards. I think I'll go buy myself a year's worth of LJ.
5 hours and 20minutes!
And I'm eating Jalapeno chips from Ms Vickie's-the same people who make nummy sea salt and vineagar chips.
