Because I RULE!

I am off to California this evening, and yet, I am in such a cheery mood. I'm sure that it will fade later, but for now, I'm loving it. It's beautiful outside, and really, my life is good. I have a job, I have good friends, I have my smarts, I have my school, I have my girlfriend, and I'm alive. The very crucial part. As long as you have that, things can always get better. Sometimes I have to tell myself that many times before I believe it, but right now I have no doubt about any of it. I *will* go back to Smith. I *will* get a job this summer. We *will* find an apartment and a hamster (maybe even lizard???). And we *will* live happily ever after, dammit, despite--no, with--all the hard work along the way. It's hard, but it's worth it.

Girlfriend will be here in 7 days.
