And then there was one

Last night as I was walking home from the chapel, I had to go soooo slooowly because of the ice. I kept imagining slipping and getting a compound fracture and not being able to write the paper due Friday at noon because I'd be laid up in the hospital. Fortunately, not only did I make it home safely, I finished the paper with time to spare.

compound fractures=worst memory from elementary school health class

why do they traumatize children with photos and images of a bone breaking and then poking through the skin???

I don't know. We didn't get pictures, rather our gym teacher (in first grade, no less) told us vividly about what it's like to get a compound fracture in your leg. EW! Most traumatizing school year ever. I still worry about it.
