I just won two tickets to six flags in a raffle at the Heads of orgs meeting. I am no longer bitter about how long it was, nor about the inane rubber-band analogies I was forced to sit through for half an hour.

I am going to hear a very attractive poet (smith alum '99) speak in an hour. I had a crazy crush on her when she and I were living in chicago at the same time. I must therefore work and do my hair.

Sadly, I saw this before I saw her. I should have remembered to say something anyway, but I was kinda nervous. Uhm. ::scuffs shoe:: I did give her my info, so if by some chance she calls me tomorrow I'll tell her you say hi. I might faint if I try to kiss her, even for you.

I should have been more specific - I meant a "hi" kiss. So just saying hi from me is fine (as the poet & I don't have any kind of understanding which would make a deeper kiss appropriate.)
