Met a cute girl tonight. Mmmhmmm. Yay for new crushes!
Coffee on Tuesday with a girl from last weekend. We'll see how it goes, I'm hoping for fun, in a platonic, not interested kind of way. Awkwardness is also a possiblity.
Sweetmate's Fizmo arrived today. We took turns sitting in the box full of styrafoam peanuts. It smelled carcinogenic and vaguely like childhood. There are still flecks of white stuff on my jeans.
I now own Death in Venice in English. I swear, the German gives me a headache. Hopefully this will make it a bit less painful.
This week looks painful. I have (1) Lots of reading for German (2) Draft two of my German paper due Wednesday (3) A film screening. Also for German. I also have several in class essays to grade. Additionally, three other classes and I must get a revised draft of my Big Ass Paper done by Friday. For real. Actual work did get done on this front this weekend, so I'm feeling good. I've realized I'm not tired of school, I'm tired of things that distract from my work. Like my classes.
I'm still thinking about (some of) the events from last weekend. I'm sure a repeat would be a bad idea, and thus far it has not been an option. That's probably for the best, because as sure as I am in some moments that it would be bad, there's several other moments that always follow where I just don't care.
Apparently the head of my department has been saying good things about me.
I'm still excited about my new sweatshirt, which I have been wearing so as to not constantly advertise my Smithihood when across the river.
Coffee time, because I don't know when the hell I'm going to bed tonight.
