The last 24-odd hours have been emotional overload. They included:

Boston
Messages about how sick my grandfather is
Assorted familial strife
Being ambushed by Holly in Ana's in Davis Square
The Mass Pike, aka my new best friend
Lots of goodbying with the lovely lady
Dinner with the engineer
Being confronted with just how much crap I have and remembering how much packing freaks me out

The solution was clearly Diva's and the Whatley -- it didn't fix anything, but it was a good fix all the same.

Accomplished in the last few days:
Solidifying of NYC/DC/NC roadtrip plans
Ivy day outfit, complete with shoes also to be worn with:
Interview suit, to be worn at commencement mass and dinner in NYC, since I have no idea when I'll have an actual interview
Much laundering, to be completed tomorrow
A start on packing for the road trip
Cap&gown& assorted sundries purchase
Hopeful MN plans
Plans for a drag act with the consultant, to be planned while we enable one another in avoiding our respective parental homes
White Sox plans with Lillian

Now: four hours of sleep and then packing/cleaning&destinking my car like mad before my parents get here.

My two Minneapolis aunts are not coming to my graduation, and I would like to see them. Also, Em lives across the state line and I'd like to see her, too.
