My lunch time trip to the optometrist revealed that the last time I visited was in the fall of 1999. Ew gross old contacts! I got a lecture and a new prescription. I then picked up a bagel and diet coke at Jacobs Brothers--they have green bagels for St. Patrick's day! Oh my. After that it was the hike to 57th street books for presents for Holly and a new journal for me! Oh joy! With the Catwoman journal as incentive, I know I'll write in the current one more. I love new journals. Whenever I get a new journal, I try to ensure that it is significantly different from my old one. Like relationships, really. I was afraid I would have to shop around forever to find one, but no! Right out of the gate and there it was!
Tonight I will:
do laundry
pick up room
pamper myself a bit with tolietries and a long shower
write in my journal
study for history
change my sheets
Holly will be here in 28.5 hours.
Sleazy Coworker is over affirming Russian Programmer. Poor RP, SC has a way of making you feel that he doesn't take you seriously and doesn't care what you have to say. So. annoying.
I'm updating my Amazon.com list, I think I'll also see if I can start selling my books there, too. W00t.
I think I need to bite the bullet and admit that I'm getting sick. ::sigh:: Sniffles and head clouds are no fun. Perhaps an early bed time will put things to right. Even a cold cannot dim my glee!
