So I went to the Tristan Tarmino talk tonight. It was called "Can porn be feminist" or something along those lines. It was mostly about her experiences in porn, as well as her personal life. She didn't answer questions very well, and her defenses of non-monogamy and SM incorporated jabs at monogamy and non-SM life that I felt were not only unnecessary, but also unhelpful. All in all, rather disappointing. Plus, she's not a very good speaker. She wasn't very focused, and she kep doing that annoying thing with her voice where every sentence sounds like she's asking a question.
