She was everything I hoped she'd be...
It was great. I went and talked to her before her talk (hah!), and after she made a joke about my last name (oh obvious puns) we had a lovely conversation about my admiration for her and how I have a "professorial air." Sadly, it was marred by my awkwardness, but not too much. She thinks I'm neat! And I said the nicest thing to her that anyone's ever said (I bet she says that to all of her obsessive fans to make them go away).
She was hilarious, and afterwards she signed things. Joy!
