It's snowing! I'm heading downtown with Frances to deposit my check, and enjoy the first snow (well, the first snow during the day that lasts for more than 5 minutes). The radical Catholic feminist scripture group is going well. E. Carr gave me suggestions for changing the flyers, and I have to investigate the times the Bodman lounge is available. I've talked to a few people on campus who are really excited, so hopefully there'll be more people at the first meeting than E. Carr and myself.
Today is also laundry day, so that I'm clean when Holly comes back tomorrow night. Must...clean...room!
Last night was fun, after watching a documentary on the Tuskeegee Syphillis Study (which wasn't fun), I went to the a cappella jam and hung out with Britta and Beth. Saw some old...aquaintences, which is always amusing. I'm working on being a charitable, non-judgemental and forgiving person, but it's not terribly easy. Especially the forgiving part, when all I want to do is be snide and talk trash. ::sigh::
So anyhoo. I'm looking forward to tonight and my date with Britta to go see the play and then go to Morris and see Beth and Cora. Indeed.
Sunday night is Ex Post Papa for me. It's also showing tonight. It's a REALLY FRACKING GOOD SHOW. Bear is doing this as a benefit for the T Committee so they can go to True Spirit. So, to recap, not only is this an AMAZING one person show, which will make you laugh, cry and be damn thankful for amazing people like Bear, but it's also for a good cause. So go! support your local trannies, and meet Bear if you haven't yet (because everyone should meet Bear), or say hi if you two have already met. And for pete's sake, tell Bear how much ex post papaing and support of our community/ies is appreciated. It's Hug Bear Weekend, folks. Do your part.
I have not been paid nor offered sexual favors in return for this endorsement....yet.
