Iz is thinking about applying to Yale next year, "Butch" and the Dada Boy are at Yale this year. Y'all should discuss.

I haven't talked to you in a couple of days...lemme know how things are going?

I went out and bought a phone card at Walgreens last night. Note to self: pay more money to credit card company, and get a good time card on-line. Yes. I probably used most of my minutes on the call last night. All sorts of happy. I've been so happy and smiley most of the last couple weeks, and now I'm finally starting to get really stressed out about work, and next semester and this summer and next year, and my credit card bill, and my driver's license, and going to the doctor and going to the dentist, and...and...and....GAH!

::deep breath:: But! In FOURTEEN days I will be flying to Noho, then going to Boston! But who's counting? Anyway, yeah. And I get paid this Friday, and when I get back from Noho (Bah!) there will be a check waiting for me...and no job. Or not much of one. Anyone in the area know of anything...lemme know! :-)

Boo on lesbian jokes at work. Two out dykes in the office, a bunch of good liberals, and yet...? ::Shrug::

I am currently obsessed with this song )

Your Existing Situation
Active, outgoing, and restless. Feels frustrated by the slowness with which events develop along the desired lines. This leads to irritability, changeability, and lack of persistence when pursuing a given objective.

Your Stress Sources
Has an unsatisfied need to ally herself with others whose standards are as high as her own, and to stand out from the herd. This desire for preeminence isolates her and inhibits her readiness to give herself freely. While she wants to surrender and let herself go, she regards this as a weakness which must be resisted. This self-restraint, she feels, will lift her above the rank and file and ensure recognition as a unique and distinctive personality.

Your Restrained Characteristics
Willing to participate and to allow herself to become involved, but tries to fend off conflict and disturbance in order to reduce tension.
Feels rather isolated and alone, but is too reserved to allow herself to form deep attachments. Egocentric and therefore quick to take offense.

Your Desired Objective
Defiantly opposes any sort of restriction or opposition. Sticks obstinately to her own point of view in the belief that this proves her independence and self-determination

Your Actual Problem
The need for esteem--for the chance to play some outstanding part and make a name for herself--has become imperative. She reacts by insisting on being the center of attention, and refuses to play an impersonal or minor role.
