(no subject)

I was just reading some posts in the queerchoice community, and I found it really interesting. I wouldn't say that I chose to be attracted to other females, but at the same time I get tired of "we're born this way" as a reason not to discriminate against us. I mean, sure, I think a lot of it is innate, but I dislike the idea that I am a victim of my genetics, and everyone should take pity on me and let me marry and adopt with other poor saps such as myself. Hrm.
