Greetings from Southern CA! It's nice here, but not like I'd know, I've been inside the whole time. Of course, that's how I like it out here anyway. Mmmmm slothy. Watched the first half of Spartacus with the crew, though everyone was sort of in and out. We got it for Helen, cuz she's doing some talk on gladiators in school this week, but she wasn't very interested. I had forgotten about the whole speech about "snails" v. "oysters" between Cassius and his slave. Hah! So homo! At any rate, having a good time. I'll be back on Wednesday, Skeefe comes in on Thursday, then hen she leaves on Sunday Holly flys in. Quite the busy month this is. I can't wait, but I'm enjoying the wait. I played "find the queers" in Diana's yearbook, which was entertaining for a while. Predictably, they're all in the Amnesty International and Animal Rights clubs. Haha.
Went shopping at Old Navy on Dad's dime yesterday, so now I'm equipped with new jeans, two ringers and a Boston t-shirt. All in shades of gray and black, of course. Except for the jeans, cuz hey, that's a bit too 1993 for me. Prevented Diana from buying white a-shirt, big sister points for me. She also bought the same jeans as me, so I'm imparting my love of boys' jeans on her, or trying. They're super long, but she insists she likes them. I have to say, I prefer them to the tight boot-cuts she was wearing. When it comes to my sister, the less form-fitting, the better I feel about it. They're both getting into punk, at least somewhat. Diana is over Good Charlotte and into nofx, Offspring (but she doesn't have Smash!), the Clash, somewhat. Helen now wears Independent shirts. Diana wants an eyebrow ring. ::sigh:: She's also into "foofy chick music" so it's time for a mix cd mwhahahahaa. I think they also need some Goldfinger in their lives. I lovecorrupting them passing on sisterly wisdom. I made salmon for Helen and I last night, and she enjoyed it, point for me.
Anyway, that's the update for now. I've been catching up somewhat on y'all's entries, but it's hard with no internet access at home. Try not to miss me too much. ::tear::
