The chili was a hit. I do love it when I successfully cook for others. It's a bit of a stress at first, but worth it when the meal comes out and everyone likes it. This particular recipe (butternut squash and black beans) is one of my favorites, so I was glad to get to eat it too. Now I've got that happy-full feeling that verges on drunkenness. I think it's a lolling kind of evening. Now all I need is a cuddle. Or even a "cuddle."
