Any sex is personal

Kosher K was wonderful, very crowded but not in a hectic way. It felt like family, even though I only knew half the people there. Having dinner with Lauren is always wonderful, and she and Rachel were in rare form tonight. Britta was there and it just felt so good to have all these people I care about in one place. I went over to Albright to do work with Rachel later. Of course work didn't really happen, but it was a nice quiet night, at the end of which we went to Hopkins for midnight tea and Britta and Jacqui Shine. Oh Jacqui Shine. So hot right now.

And there was more, but none for you, internet. I'll tell you when it either goes well or blows up in my face. Mmmhmmm.

Spring has not sprung, it's just checking out the scene before it goes back to sleep.

Cleaned my leather today, realized when I got it out it had been about a year since I did this last. Bad Sarah! But now my jacket and boots are all stinky and glossy airing out in the hall, and other closer to the skin items are soft and clean and ready to go back into their drawer. Three kerchiefs have been ruined, but I never used them anyway. Into the leather bag they go!

Tonight is the Vag Mo dance, Kait kindly reminded me that I might want to look extra sexy tonight. Oh but I already thought of that, thank you. Now I must clean my room so that it is presentable. There may also be guacamole.

It is warm enough that I wore my chucks earlier and rustybluebike and I drove around western Mass with the windows down singing loud. After brunch. Which was lovely both in food and company. rustybluebike, gyag_mangpo and una_sorella to name a few.

fiercepixie and I went downtown before dinner for supplies of various sorts and I ran into an old friend and we made a new one.

Wednesday is Ash Wednesday. I'm not ready. Am I? Perhaps I am ready for the self-reflection and quiet of Lent, but as always the spectre of Holy Week looms large and it scares me. Perhaps that's part of the point, at least in my particular place.
