Back in Indiana, watching West Wing in the basement and doing laundry. My room upstairs is filled with the remains of my room at school. Some of the boxes are in the garage, one is in the living room. Apparently I have a lot of crap. But my parents at least do have wifi, so i'm updating from the couch. The beauty of those bars on my screen is beyond description. Now if only I could get decent cell reception out here, it'd be like civilization.
I don't want to jinx anything, but I'm applying for a job with Call to Action in Chicago tomorrow. A job would be nice.
This weekend I'll be in Minnesota. There is talk of Lake Superior and a superior wilderdyke. If only we can overcome the difficulties of midwest life and actually get in contact. That would help.
My throat is scratchy. But this morning started out with Krispy Kreme and upon my return to Chicago was whisked away to the White Sox game. The game was really exciting at the end, with two runs winning us the gain at the bottom of the ninth inning. Then pizza at Connie's, and dozing on the way home. To find my bed covered in my crap, but it's better than when it looks empty and strange.
The roadtrip was awesome, Greensboro is cute. Yesterday we went to Asheville, which was cute and surprisingly gay. The other Sarah's not here and it's so strange to be alone. Not having her here is odd, as is not being in the same bulding as 30 or 40 other women. I'm a college graduate, I'm totally done. Now if I could just get a job.
