Because what I'm about to write was inspired by this post by you. Dammit.

I am starting to resent being gendered according to other peoples perceptions of themselves as people who are sensitive to transgressions of gender. I would rather, thanks, be gendered according to their perceptions of *me*.

Or asked, even, maybe. That'd be nice.

I don't generally complain about people's gendering or naming of me, largely because, well, it's changed a lot (and frequently) in the last year. Like Bear, I just don't care too much lately. But...really...oh hell. I have a headache and need to pee and walk the dogs. No gender today, folks. But do go check out doesitquack.com if you never have.

ps All geeks reading this page (really, that's probably just about anyone who reads my journal), go read this now. That's exactly how I feel.

Darlin' Sarah,

I'm reading. You know I pay attention. I'll see you when you get here - if you &%#$@! call me...
