Now I must go to Boston and buy them.

Er...anyone have a car? And $130?

Anyone interested in joining their local candlelit vigil for peace can find out where it is and get other information here: http://www.moveon.org/vigil/

This is a world-wide event, peaceful and quiet for just an hour (or a half-hour, in some cases) tomorrow night. If you're in Chicago, I know there are a few downtown, one at Roscoe and Halsted, and four or five on the south side (two in Hyde Park!) There are quite a few in the Pioneer Valley, I'll be at the one in Northampton. Seriously, people are holding vigils all over the world, including someone (a research team Iguess) in Antarctica. So yeah. Go!

[livejournal.com profile] wisygig and I went off at 5.30 with the intention of going to the mall, but went the wrong way and went to Vermont instead. We didn't notice til past Bratelboro though, because we were having a good time and frankly, all your piddly little states look the same to me. :-) We came back to Northampton, where I saw the beautiful woman whom I see nearly every day after class and reminds me of you, but more feminine. I smiled at her and got a smile and an eyebrow waggle in return! Mrowr. This is why I love Northampton. We went to Teapot for sushi, where, for the first time ever I was given chopsticks but no fork. We got a big plate of sushi, sashimi and california rolls. Went through the ginger halfway through, as predicted, and only made a mess once. Whee!
