Fifth sentence from my 23rd post, 2/16/2001. Private for a couple years. So of course this has me thinking about the ex from this summer....one of the two deep deep loves I've had. I was writing about The Vegan. You'd think the whole Holly thing would put a seemingly tawdry affair such as that into some sort of minimizing perspective. Not at all. Perspective, yes, and not just because of Holly. Minimizing? No. I still maintain that I loved her and it was amazing. I'm glad I can look back on the people I cared about in that way and remember why and how great (and sometimes not) it was. I've grown, I've changed, etc. Fortunately, one of the ways I've changed is that I no longer type the word "Gawd" in a majority of my posts. Go me.
