This weekend was interesting and fun. Much, much fun. I spent lots of time with an old friend, who I'm glad to have in my life. In another universe apparently things would be different, but since I'm stuck in this one, I'll make do. Want v. need, I think the latter won out, but the former made a good showing.

Job-wise things are still a bit up in the air. Selfishly I'm concerned for my own situation, but there are bigger things at stake here that have me worried too (the health of someone I care about, to be more specific).

It's either time to do more laundry or buy more socks. I'm leaning towards the latter since I seem to run out of them so quickly. I think in part because of their habit of hiding from me when it's laundry day.
