The Massachusetts Turnpike Authority website does have a toll calculator, but they make you work for it. Or at least, their search engine is shit.

I'm driving to Boston tomorrow, not only for the first time by myself, but for the first time behind the wheel. I'm prepared for the hour and a half of my life!

In seriousness, I'm really excited about hanging out with [livejournal.com profile] kathrot, people watching doing important reading at Diesel, and picking up the consultant. Plus, I just did laundry, and I'm excited about my jeans fitting and the possibility of my boxer briefs still being warm in the morning. I'm also hoping that a t-shirt, sweatshirt and jacket will be enough in 44 degree weather. I forgot about the long-sleeved layer in packing my bag for the poorly-named for me Spring Break.

Today saw a marked increase in productivity, followed by a glut of internet activity. After much deliberation, I've decided to leave my laptop at home and just bring things to read and take notes on. Because I really don't relish the idea of carrying it all over creation and Boston.

Tomorrow is the last day of break. I'm excited for Sweetmate to come back and to be in my room again, but I'm dreading next week. Can Sunday last all week? Please?
