I woke up a few minutes before my alarm was set to go off, and I futzed with it so that I'd have less time to doze, but still wouldn't have to get up right away. I snuggled back up to my pillow and closed my eyes. A bit later, I decided that probably I should get up, alarm or no so that I didn't end up in an oversleeping catastrophe. Then I looked at my alarm: 11:22. I had overslept by over four hours! Oh no!

Or, in fact, I had depressed the wrong button on my alarm clock in my stupor and reset the time instead of the alarm. Go me.

I've got one of those 2-alarms-in-1-clock-radio alarms. It used to be that I used one & Bean used the other, but the volume difference was an issue (she gets up late & needs it loud; I get up early & need it soft) so we got her her own clock. And now I get to have my standard alarm time (6:30, and I usually get up before it no matter how late I stay up so I usually go to bed early in self-defense) and The Other Time (which is currently a whopping 7:30).

But I *hates* it when I'm trying to hit the "snooze" button and I accidentally hit the "reset until tomorrow morning" button instead.
